AURAI SWIM collections aim to reflect the essence of a fun, healthy and conscious lifestyle, featuring high-quality materials, timeless silhouettes and colour palettes, exclusive prints and “surf safe” flattering Brazilian cut swimsuits for all body types. Aurai is based in Auckland, New Zealand, while the manufacturing of the collections is carefully handmade at a small family-owned atelier in Natalia’s hometown in southern Brazil, where she locally sources most of the materials.

The materials include ECONYL®, a revolutionary polyamide fibre made from 100% regenerated material, pre and post-consumer nylon waste such as nylon plastic scraps, old carpets and fish nets that litter our oceans. From the SS19 collection, Aurai also introduced AMNI SOUL ECO®, made from a polyamide with an improved formulation that accelerates biodegradation in the anaerobic environment, common in most landfills. Also, AMNI SOUL ECO® is a yarn developed and produced in Brazil. Both fabrics are OEKO TEX certified, i.e., zero harmful substances are used in their manufacturing.
