Metro Manilla is where it all started. In 2008, a local non-profit reached out to Good Paper’s founder. There was a desperate need for dignified jobs for women rescued from sex-trafficking. A year later Good Paper opened its doors. In 2011 IJM, a global organisation that fights human trafficking joined the Good Paper network.
Good Paper has four production sites in the Philippines, with each production site partnering with local and international non-profits to offer after-care and seminars that teach life-skills and help card makers plan for the future. The company is committed to holistic and sustainable well-being for all its staff.
“Each greeting card is a testament to strength and resilience of the inspiring card-makers”
The Good Paper mission is to restore the human spirit. They believe in elevating dignity, beauty and humanity. Each greeting card is a testament to strength and resilience of the inspiring card-makers.
The company is known for its distinctive, high quality paper. The uniquely textured, pulped, and hand pressed recycled paper is produced in Calauan, where it is then sent to the card making centres around the country. Every good paper card is a connection to a story of hope, and proof that small purchases can lead to beautiful outcomes.
