Emma Watson Aces Wimbledon 🎾

The 2018 Wimbledon was full of surprises, with Kevin Anderson first pulling the impossible stunt against Roger Federer. Serena’s return to Wimbledon to boost her ranking while on maternity leave, and Djokovic’s easy win over Anderson to claim his 13th grand slam title, even his coach admitted being surprised.

However, the biggest surprise was not on the court but in the stands.

While Serena Williams and Angelique Kerber brought out a star-studded crowd with both the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge in attendance.

Emma Watson brought back history.

The sports event of the season also doubled as a fashion event of the season, with spectators bringing forward their best tennis ensembles.

Actress Emma Watson certainly got the style memo, arriving at the game in an all-white outfit that was perfect for the summer event. Offering up a fresh spin on a three-piece suit, Watson wore a blazer, vest, and Duchess-worthy wide-leg pants.
The look is all about tailoring, and Watson got the proportions just right. She accessorised the ensemble with a white straw topper hat or commonly known as the fedora and dangly chandelier earrings for just enough shine.

When we thought she’d done it again, the next day she redefined history.

Her second outfit—worn to the men’s finals—was equally as captivating.

The tan shirtdress with asymmetrical button detail was also by Ralph Lauren. Emma wore it with a thick brown belt, straw hat, white pumps and an Olympia Le Tan ‘Corbeille de Mots’ clutch.

By choosing a historical look instead of a fresh-off-the-runway piece for both her appearances, she was sending a message about environmentally conscious dressing, an ethos she’s advocated throughout her career. All in all, it was an ace move.
